Pregnant celebrity Mum Stacey Solomon has turned to electronic cigarettes in an attempt to quit her smoking habit.

The winner of reality show I’m A Celebrity and X Factor finalist was recently snapped smoking whilst seven months pregnant.

She was reduced to tears during an interview on This Morning as she explained why she was still smoking.

She said: “At the end of the day, nothing that I can say makes it right. All I can say is that from the day I found out that I was pregnant, I have tried my best to give up. I completely understand why people would be angry, because for some people it’s uncomprehendable. “

The mother-of-one said she had cut back her habit since discovering she was pregnant with her second child but she was finding it difficult to abstain completely. She has now turned to e-cigarettes. The devices do not contain tobacco and normally contain nicotine infused water.

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that their have been less premature births in Scotland since the country introduced a ban in 2006.
